Shannon's doing great on her own!
Shannon Beador just keeps winning. The star filed for and finalized her divorce from her husband of 17 years, won some major victories in the courtroom, is shedding the pounds she gained during their turbulent relationship, and ― apparently ― is doing fine all on her own.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star’s divorce documents were recently obtained by The Blast, and we now know just how much she makes from her Bravo paychecks! It’s a doozy.
It’s been a good few months for Shannon Beador. After 17 years of marriage to her (cheating) ex-husband David Beador, Shannon is finally a single woman. The Bravo star seems to be killing it in her new life as a single woman.
While she wanted nothing more than make her marriage work for years, she finally decided to pull the trigger and split from her hubby of 17 years, David Beador. She didn’t want her three teen daughters to feel like they were growing up in a broken family, but Shannon came to realize that she was just making herself increasingly miserable which was setting a bad example for her kids.
“You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties. You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn’t happening in our relationship,” Shannon explained to People.
Shannon dropped the bombshell on her fans that she would definitely be divorcing David soon. She announced the news on Twitter on Oct. 30, and revealed it in person on the RHOC reunion show.
Things have been going swimmingly for her ever since.
She won a major legal victory early in the process when it was clear that David just wanted things settled quickly. As Celebuzz! previously reported Shannon is set to get everything she wants in the divorce. Radar Online spoke to a friend of Shannon who said at the time that “David agreed to give her exactly what she wanted because […] they both want to make this as easy as possible on their kids. He requested some minor tweaks that had to do with logistical details, but Shannon’s requests were straightforward and fair.”
Naturally, the list of things she wanted is long and expensive and included spousal and child support and $25,000 for court fees!
