Vicki Gunvalson‘s wedding is off!
The OG of the OC has not had the easiest time, especially after being demoted to “Friend of the Housewives” and then leaving the show. But what really matters right now…is the wedding ever going to happen?
Vicki Gunvalson has cancelled her wedding! The former Real Housewives of Orange County star was forced to postpone the celebration due to the coronavirus outbreak.
She and fiancé Steve Lodge got engaged in April of last year and planned to get married this month. Other stars including Katy Perry, Taraji P. Henson, Emma Stone, Dennis Quaid, Lala Kent, and Tinsley Mortimer were forced to cancel their wedding plans as well.
In an episode of Real Housewives that aired last year, Vicki retold the moment she and Steve got engaged.
“He said, ‘You know what? I just want to be with you and I want to ask you from the bottom of my heart if you’ll marry me,’” she remembered. “And then I started crying and he started crying!”
She continued on, saying, “‘He said, ‘Well, it’s been three years almost to the day. And my family loves you, and I love you, everybody blessed us and I want you to be my wife.’ And I said, ‘Absolutely, yes yes yes!’”
Unfortunately for now though, their dream wedding is put on pause.
As for Vicki’s wedding, she told People magazine, “I’m not in the right mindset.”
The reality star was planning a reception with their blended family, but travel restrictions had social gathering restrictions have put a damper on things. Gunvalson said they were not going to rush down the aisle and are being patient.
“We’re doing nothing,” she said.
